OUR ACTIONS
AN OBSERVATION? A RESPONSE.
The textile industry remains today one of the most polluting in the world. It generates 1.2 billion tonnes of CO₂ per year, more than maritime and air transport combined. In France, 3.5 billion new garments were sold in 2024, or 10 million per day, an increase of 40% in ten years. At the same time, only 20% of clothing is recycled, while 80% ends up in landfills or is incinerated. Faced with this challenge, the regulatory framework is evolving. The AGEC law, in force since 2022, now prohibits retailers, producers, and distributors from destroying their unsold goods. Since October 2025, a new "textile eco-score" is being gradually deployed to inform consumers about the environmental impact of each garment.
At the same time, there are talented people who struggle to find their place in the workforce. Espero supports marginalized individuals in achieving this reintegration by learning a trade. Our goal is for everyone we support to find sustainable employment and recognition of their skills.
THE PARIS 13 WORKSHOP
Located in the heart of Paris, our workshop is a space for creation and production. We prototype, experiment with, and develop the fashion of tomorrow—fashion conceived from the design stage to be ethical, responsible, and sustainable. Our team works on design, pattern making, and material research, embracing environmental constraints as creative catalysts rather than obstacles.
THE ANTONY WORKSHOP
In Antony, our teams manufacture for a wide range of clients: brands, designers, institutions, with the care and high standards demanded by quality craftsmanship. This space is also where our integration mission comes to life: every order is an opportunity for training and upskilling for the people we support.
WE DON'T FORGET WHERE WE COME FROM...
Bees are disappearing. In France, nearly 30% of colonies die each year, notably due to the overuse of pesticides. Behind this figure, an entire balance is wavering: 84% of cultivated plant species rely on these pollinators to survive. Protecting bees means protecting what feeds us. A simple challenge, yet central to the ecological transition.
EXCLUSIVE COLLABORATIONS
We are not here to follow trends, but to create something timeless. By blending creativity, strategy, and heart, we bring ideas to life.
URBAN BEEKEEPING
Since 2017, we have offered introductory workshops in urban beekeeping—a demanding, meaningful, and too often overlooked craft. Sharing this expertise means keeping a tradition alive while providing bees with caring hands to look after them.
